Tips in Monero
• Tip a note or a profile from your own wallet app (Unstoppable, monfluo, Cake …) through a monero: link
• monostr holds no wallet and no spend key
• To receive tips there are two ways. Either just publish your Monero address (NIP-A3 payto): others pay from their wallet, without a receipt in monostr
• Or you register your address and private view key with a watcher (watcher.monostr.com by default, or your own). The watcher sees your incoming payments and publishes signed tip receipts on Nostr, so everybody sees the tip on the note
• Anonymous tips are possible

Open
monostr is free software (AGPL-3.0-or-later). Notes, likes and reposts say “via monostr” (off by default, can be switched on).

monostr is in beta.
